VCAS Product Components and Options

Verimatrix delivers a modular range of product components and options addressing key challenges of pay-TV operators for different type of video delivery networks, such as DVB, IPTV and Internet TV/OTT. These components implement the versatile functionality provided by the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS™). A specific VCAS pay-TV operator solution consists of combinations of the components optimized for a specific market segment. Based on a highly modular system architecture and efficient form factor, VCAS is inherently cost effective for the smallest deployment while scaling easily to operations with millions of subscribers.

A key VCAS value-add is the common entitlement and management interface, which provides a single point of integration with business management systems. Uniquely, while any DRM may support a multi-device domain concept, VCAS enables cross-DRM subscriber domain management, a.k.a. VCAS Super Domains. Specifically, when content is entitled to a subscriber’s domain (as opposed to a device), it is automatically available to all that domain’s devices, whether IPTV, DVB, HLS, Marlin or PlayReady DRM clients.
