The ViewRight Web core client code is available as a library for variants of the popular Google Android mobile phone and web tablet OS, enabling secure delivery of HTTP Live Streaming services to devices running applications integrating this library. In a similar manner to the solution for iPhone, ViewRight Web for Android provides complementary device authentication and entitlement verification functions to support to third-party player technology implementing the HLS protocol. Verimatrix partners with major video player providers to ensure compatibility of such integrations and player deployments. For example, ViewRight Web for Android is available for Samsung Galaxy tablets, integrated with a Real Networks media player.
