Tom Munro, CEO

Tom Munro has served as CEO of Verimatrix since April 2005. Earlier, he was President of Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI) a global leader in the design, deployment, and management of wireless mobility and broadband wireless networks. He served WFI as CFO from 1997 to 2000, through the company's successful IPO, and as President from September of 2000 until his retirement in January, 2003. Prior to joining WFI, Tom was founder and CEO of @Market, an online sporting goods retailer. Earlier, he was CFO of Precision Digital Images, an image processing technology firm in Redmond, Washington, after leaving MetLife Capital Corporation, a leading commercial finance company. At MCC from 1981 to 1994, Tom held a series of analytical, financial, and sales responsibilities including CFO of the company. Tom holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and an MBA from the University of Washington. Tom sits on the boards of Airgain Technologies, the Digital Watermarking Alliance and BandwidthX.

Steve Oetegenn, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Steve Oetegenn's career in the Information Technology industry spans 25 years. He has a wide range of experience in international business, having launched numerous high tech products to the global marketplace. He began his career with Burroughs Corporation (now UNISYS) as a specialist for Optical Character Recognition Systems. He has specialized in Digital Security and Anti-Piracy since 1998, working with Government agencies, Fortune 500 companies and Major Hollywood studios. Prior to joining Verimatrix, he was COO of MediaSec Technologies LLC, a pioneer and leader in the field of digital watermarking, COO of Argus Systems Group, a leading provider of Internet server security software, and CEO of DCE Communication Ltd, a world-wide provider of business messaging systems. Mr. Oetegenn has spoken at numerous global digital security conferences and he also speaks fluent German.

Tim Driscoll, Chief Financial Officer

Tim Driscoll has 15 years of experience in financial and operations management at technology-focused organizations. Prior to Verimatrix, he consulted with clients in the areas of corporate finance and marketing, including TelASIC, a semiconductor and radio systems company, DispenseSource, a logistics technology company, and the Engineering School at the University of California, San Diego. Previously, Mr. Driscoll was at Mission Ventures, a $500M venture capital partnership, where he managed direct investments and provided operational support to early stage communications technology companies. Prior to Mission Ventures, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army's Aviation branch, where he was involved in managing development and deployment of new technologies. Mr. Driscoll has a BS in Computer Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.

Petr Peterka, Chief Technology Officer

Petr Peterka, Chief Technology Officer - Petr joined Verimatrix in 2010 from a role as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff in the CTO’s office at Motorola’s Home and Networks Mobility Team. His background includes an extensive familiarity with CA/DRM systems, including work on platforms combining IPTV, DVB-H, iPhone and Android. He has been active with standards organizations including DECE, DLNA CPS, ATIS, SMPTE, Coral, DVB, ITU-T and others, and has worked with Hollywood studios, CableLabs, and the MPAA on content security topics. He previously worked with NextLevel Systems and General Instrument. Petr holds Master’s degrees from both UCSD and the Czech Technical University. He holds 7 issued US patents and has over 25 additional filed patent applications.

Angelina Hendricks, Vice President, Engineering

Angelina Hendricks brings a diverse background in software development to Verimatrix. Prior to Verimatrix, she led delivery of the emergency response management product suite at TriTech Software Systems directing development, quality assurance, documentation, and GIS as the Vice President, Engineering. Before joining TriTech, Angelina worked in financial regulation at NASD‑R (now FINRA) creating and supporting WebCRD particularly in release management, external interfaces, continuing education, and renewals. During the dotcom era, she designed a business intelligence application for small to medium‑sized business at a short‑lived start‑up, Barranca Software. Angelina earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her masters from the University of Texas at Austin. She is active in CONNECT, CommNexus, and sits on the board of the San Diego .NET User Group.

Steve Christian, VP, Marketing

Steve Christian has a wealth of experience in the digital media and Internet technology space and is a speaker on media technology and business trends at industry events around the globe At Verimatrix he is responsible for product strategy, marketing programs and management of brand equity. Prior to joining Verimatrix Mr. Christian was VP Marketing at streaming media specialist Nine Systems and has also run his own "virtual VP" technology marketing consultancy, helping the growth of a variety of software, wireless and Internet security ventures. His background includes product and services management at Wind River, ST Microelectronics and Raytheon. Mr. Christian has a 1st class degree in Physics from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the Open University in the UK.

Bronwyn Savary, Vice President & General Counsel

Ms. Savary is Vice President & General Counsel at Verimatrix, Inc. In her tenure with Verimatrix, she advises the Company on a variety of legal issues associated with the global development, marketing, licensing and sale of technology and professional services. From 1996 until the company's acquisition in 2007, Ms. Savary served as legal counsel to Acucorp, Inc. (acquired by UK-based Micro Focus), a software company in the legacy extension market. In this position, she gained extensive U.S. and international experience in intellectual property licensing, corporate matters, and employment law. Ms. Savary received her bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies, with a concentration in Japanese language and culture, from the University of Illinois. She received a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and is licensed to practice in California and New York.
