Multi-network Solutions in the Real World Forum at IBC 2013

September 14, 2013

Making your Hybrid Network Smarter

The rapid growth in the adoption of multi-network TV and video services is creating significant opportunities for pay TV operators to extend their reach and reduce churn. However, it is also presenting challenges related to delivering a consistently reliable multi-screen video experience.

Operators need to deploy a range of technologies that support both vital security for pay-TV content services and comprehensive analytics of audience behavior along with technical playback performance metrics - across multiple networks. Arming operators with detailed subscriber behavior and usage data will enable the delivery of engaging content across multiple platforms that have the potential to widen revenue streams by providing much-desired, higher quality services to their customers.

At the Multi-network Solutions in the Real World Forum at IBC 2013 industry experts discussed the role of analytics within multi-network, multi-screen services in making hybrid networks smarter.
