Extending your Network with OTT Video

This event was held during CABSAT 2013 at the Dubai International Convention Centre.

Implementing a multi-network, multi-screen strategy has been shifting away from a strictly defensive competitive move to a significant new revenue opportunity. Adding over-the-top (OTT) video to existing pay-TV services has proven to not only reduce subscriber churn, but can also target new users and achieve growth that might not otherwise be possible.

OTT video can extend reach not just within the subscriber network domain, but also homes outside their physical network, which can open up new global markets. With appropriate content rights, operators have the opportunity to deliver indigenous content to globally dispersed expat communities. Multi-network business models exist, making the development of a successful deployment strategy the real challenge.
